Open Grants

Below are details of all grants programmes open for applications at the moment. Before you apply please make sure you have read the criteria for each grant programme, the information on the Grants and Funding page and our LCF Grantmaking Handbook.

We currently use online application forms for most of our grants programmes. If you require an alternative application method, or have any issues filling out your application please email grants@leedscf.org.uk or contact us on 0113 242 2426 for support.

 

The following grant programmes are currently open for applications:

Lunch Club Grants

Closing date 12noon Monday 19 February

Grants to support the core running costs of lunch clubs for older people in Leeds. This scheme will                                                                             fund both new and existing clubs.

Ann Maguire Arts Education Fund

Closing Date 12noon Wednesday 21 February 2018

Grants up to £1,500 are available for individuals and organisations helping young people to pursue their talents in the arts.

The Wesleyan Foundation – Large Grants £2k – £10k

Closing Date 12noon Wednesday 21 February 2018

The Wesleyan Foundation will aim to support projects from registered charities, constituted voluntary and community groups in Leeds  that promote or improve health, education, innovation or social development.

Solutions for an Ageing Society

FINAL closing date for expressions of interest Friday 16 March 2018

Grants up to £5,000 for social entrepreneurs with                                                                           sustainable ideas to help older people to live positive,                                                                     independent lives in local communities.

Leeds Fund: Micro Grants

Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. The next deadline is Wednesday 28 February 2018

Small grants of under £500 will support individuals who are social entrepreneurs/community activists or groups with a turnover of under £2,500 looking to develop or implement ideas that benefit Leeds residents.

Building a Stronger Britain Together

Closing Date 5pm 16 February 2018

Grants are offered in 2 sizes – £1,000—£14,999 and £15,000 – £50,000 civil society and community organisations who work to create more resilient communities, to counter extremism in all its forms and offer vulnerable individuals positive alternatives.

Healthy Holidays

Henry Smith

Ongoing

We are able to offer advice on applications to the Henry Smith Charity Fund but we do not accept applications directly for this Fund.
