Leeds Community Foundation is pleased to announce the return of the Pears Youth Fund, which has been made possible thanks to generous support from Pears Foundation, a family foundation based in London (www.pearsfoundation.org.uk). The focus of the Fund is on encouraging applicants that actively involve young people in the design and delivery of projects that focus on voice, engagement and influence for them and their peers. We are particularly interested in looking at the barriers that make it more difficult for young people to have a voice and be heard, or engage and interact with each other, and with local organisations. We would like funded projects to explore different methods of engagement and collaboration and to understand more about the barriers and solutions.
Leeds and Bradford Metropolitan Districts.
Grants of £500 to £7,500 are available. We have a pot of £100,000 available to distribute. Applicants should have an annual income below £500k.
