  • Organisations must be working with beneficiaries either in Leeds or Bradford Metropolitan District.
  • Capital and Revenue projects will be considered.
  • Applicants must be seeking 50% – 100% of costs i.e. we do not want to make a contribution to a larger project unless you can identify a specific aspect that we would be funding.
  • The grants can be used to extend a current scheme or project or introduce or pilot a new idea or activity.
  • Evaluation costs can be included as part of the application to ensure the project can effectively report on the required impact.

We are not able to fund the following:

  • Activity that’s purely about research, though including costs for evaluation of the proposed activity and sharing positive outcomes is encouraged.
  • Retrospective funding.
  • Individuals, private sector businesses or statutory organisations.
  • National organisations without a strong, local presence i.e. local committee of people managing the activity and/or a local office.

Required monitoring and evaluation: Applicants must be able to show that they are addressing a specific need in their community and that there is demand for their services.  We’re looking to fund practical projects that provide real, tangible impact.
