LGBTQIA+ Microgrants 2024

We’ve invested £7,500 in 9 Leeds community organisations through the LGBTQIA+ Microgrants programme. 

The programme supports LGBTQIA+ -led community groups and organisations in Leeds to build sustainability and resilience. The fund focuses on small and emerging groups that may not be able to access other funding. 

The organisations that were awarded funding are:

• • • • Leeds LGBTQ+ Community Consortium 

• • • • Pride of Place Leeds Limited 

• • • • Shen Healing Collective 

• • • • The Hangout Youth Group CIC 

• • • • Trans Pride Leeds 

 

The funded activities include:  

• • • • An event for LGBTQIA+ people and organisations to network and engage in empowering, creative activities. 

• • • • Recruiting a monitoring officer to set up monitoring systems and write an evaluation report for a community facility. 

• • • • Running acting and performance workshops for trans and non-binary people. 

• • • • Covering the digital and financial running costs of a charity for 12 months. 

 

Alongside their funding, grant holders will have the opportunity access tailored capacity-building support and networks through our partners, LGBT Consortium.
