Mars in the Community Fund

The Mars in the Community Fund supports projects that are promoting Healthy Active Lifestyles, Environment or Pet Welfare.

Who can apply?
Applicants that meet all the following criteria:

• For projects from local charities, community groups, or regional branches of national charities based or supporting residents or areas within a 15 mile-radius from Birstall, Leeds (You can check the geographical eligibility of your project on the Mars in the Community website by clicking here)

• Projects that will deliver a positive and lasting benefit to the community in one of the following three areas: Healthy Active Lifestyles, Environment or Pet Welfare. Please note that the Local Mars site gives priority to applications that promote Pet Welfare.

• Projects that can demonstrate clear objectives, measurable outcomes and impacts.

Grant Size
Grants of £250 upwards are available. Please note grants above £2,000 are not normally awarded.

The deadline for submitting applications is 12 noon on Thursday 27 September 2018.
