Meet Sarah from Wellington Place
Sarah Limbert is the Marketing Manager at Wellington Place, where she leads on creating engaging experiences and building a strong sense of community across the thriving urban quarter. Passionate about people, place and purpose, Sarah plays a key role in shaping Wellington Place’s placemaking initiatives, from partnerships with local organisations to events that bring businesses together. With a genuine appreciation for Leeds and its vibrant character, she’s committed to supporting the city’s growth and championing the brilliant work happening across its communities.
Why is it important to you to support local communities?
Community is at the heart of everything we do at Wellington Place. We’re passionate about creating a space that doesn’t just bring businesses together but brings people together. Supporting Leeds Community Foundation allows us to play a part in strengthening the wider city and ensures that grassroots groups, charities and neighbourhood initiatives have the resources they need to flourish. When local communities are supported, the whole city becomes a better place to live, work and spend time in.
What do you love about Leeds?
One of the things I love most about Leeds is its balance. You can take a peaceful walk around Roundhay Park or be in the countryside within minutes, yet still enjoy brilliant restaurants, bars and experiences both in the city centre and in the surrounding suburbs. It’s a city with a real warmth to it and that’s what makes it such a special place to be part of.
What advice would you give to people who are thinking about supporting Leeds Community Foundation?
Get involved! Leeds Community Foundation is a fantastic organisation to work with and are genuinely passionate about making a difference. They run brilliant events, they’re incredibly supportive, and for us it’s a bonus that they’re based right here at Wellington Place.
