Pears Youth Fund 2025

We’ve invested £140,000 in 7 Leeds and Bradford community organisations thanks to the latest round of Pears Youth Fund. 

Established in 2017, Pears Youth Fund, our partnership with Pears Foundation, supports organisations to deliver youth work and promote youth voice, youth empowerment and youth activities. 

The organisations that were awarded grants in this round of funding are:   

• • • Bradford Community Broadcasting, Bradford 

• • • Bradford Nightstop, Bradford 

• • • Brave Words CIC, Leeds 

• • • Circus Leeds, Leeds 

• • • Interplay Theatre, Leeds 

• • • Seacroft Community On Top, Leeds 

• • • The Valley Project, Bradford 

The funded activities include:  

• • • Pay-What-You-Can youth theatres providing safe, creative spaces where children and young people can develop positive social and emotional skills. 

• • • Empowering young people to develop and deliver their own project on LGBTQ+ inclusion in their schools. 

• • • Running consultations and an outreach programme to engage and listen to young people, which will inform the development of future activities. 

These organisations join many funded through Pears Youth Fund since it first opened in 2017. Since it started, the fund has awarded 91 grants and more than £930,000. So far, nearly 9,000 young people have taken part in activities funded by the programme.
