Suicide Prevention Grants 2023
25 July 2023
The Suicide Prevention Grants programme is a partnership between Leeds Community Foundation and Leeds City Council, Public Health. The programme funds Community Organisations to deliver social activities determined by local participants, and to provide outreach work with targeted communities to reduce social isolation.
Activities support people experiencing nationally and locally identified risk factors, including triggering or traumatic life experiences, self-harm, social isolation, poor physical or mental health and alcohol or drug misuse.
In the latest round of the programme in spring 2023, almost £140,000 was invested in 8 Community Organisations in Leeds.
