The Leeds Fund Microgrants Winter 2024
17 May 2024
Almost £10,000 has been invested through the latest round of The Leeds Fund Microgrants. The round supported 5 Leeds Community Organisations, who will deliver a range of activities with their funding.
The Leeds Fund Microgrants supports small and emerging Leeds-based Community Organisations that may not be able to access larger grants programmes. They can use their funding for a variety of activities to support their communities, including one-off projects, expanding existing work or supporting their organisation’s development.
The organisations that were awarded funding in the winter round are:
-
-
-
- AFRIKINDNESS
- Feed Leeds
- Hunslet and Belle Isle Community Project
- Leeds Print Workshop
- Thorner Over 60s Association
-
-
The funded activities include:
-
-
-
- A programme of workshops and support to address the challenges faced by ethnic minority families with neurodiverse children.
- A campaign to encourage more people in Leeds to grow some of their own food.
- Supporting the core costs involved in starting and establishing a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in its first year.
